@TheAudiophile3 Reconciliation is not going to make it right, but it is something that needs to be done. It will allow you to let go of the things that you may have held onto and as well as your mother's issues as well. Then, you can decide if you want to create a relationship or not. If not, then you move on.

a lot of people here say that Kellie should forgive her mother. She probably has already forgiven her, but just because you forgive someone doesn't mean you need to have a relationship with them. Kellie's mother left her alone all those years, why can't she leave her alone now?

This is why I look up to Kellie. She's a strong person. I try to be too because I was in the same situation like her. My mother abandoned me, and all of a sudden she keeps trying to contact me.

If the mother really wanted to be with her daughter no matter what she would fight for her. Not give the excuse that she doesnt want to hurt her. A mothers love is way thicker than what that woman showed. A mother would know that.
