After seeing off Adon you arrive at the first level of the game. The Port of Adia. Some of you may still be trying to beat the game with cheats even after a decade. Let me give you some advice: You won't be able to beat the game with cheats; the only real useful cheats are the infinite lives, invincibility, all weapons, infinite ammo and all special objects. The others are interesting as they allow seeing the game as if it was still being developed but not exactly useful. Anyway even if you don't die, run out of ammo and have all the necessary items in your inventory you still have to deal with the exploration part and that will make any cheat on any game worthless(Unless you have a strategy guide). I suggest that you only used the cheats to enjoy the game more instead of trying to beat them with it. Rather ironic that these were the first true shooter of their time would be so complicated, maybe it was the fact that we didn't have two joysticks back then, it seems as the graphics and controls get better the games get easier. It should have been backward, ease us in and then pour the harder challenges later but we were forced to toughen up early on.
Getting back to the game, onnce you se Adon off what will begin is one of the most bloddiest game of all time, and I do mean bloody. The port of Adia is by far the most straightforward, easiest level in the game and it depict a pretty grim scene as you arrive just as the in the middle of the Primagens army attack on the village. Building had been torn apart and some are even still exploding around you by listening to the sounds of stragglers dying around you. You're job is too warn all nearby cities of the Primagens attack by lighting three beacons. Some children have been left behind as well in this mess and it's up to you to save them, but beware, the dinosoid army has captured on or two and may be using the to lay a trap. And of course defending the Energy Totem at all cost therefore keeping the Primagen trapped until he can be taken care off. This music gives an idea how desperate the situation is.
In this level Adon explains to us about the eagle feather which would grant you abilities vital to succeded in the game, we also learn that it's her role to save the game and that she does help you out by filling your ammo and health, although she can only do this once per level. We also meet the Sentinels, nasty one eyed warriors that will frightened the hell out of you, they referrer to themselves as OBLIVION and seem to see it in their interest to see the Primagen succeed. They are also clues as to a plot that is not only set against Turok and the Lost land, but also toward The Primagen!

EDIT

Aparently there was some confusion regarding this video. A lot of people were aparently expecting gameplay and they were unwilling to accept the fact that this was just a soundtrack video. I've added one word so hopefully no one will be deceive and the hate comments will stop.

  • Turok, Help!! Oh huu huu huu.. Turok, Help!!!! Oh huu huu huu.

  • @SinDantes its the PC version of the song

  • @alter123123123 Actually, quality does'nt matter that much. It's all about nostalgia. I mean, i played this game (Turok 2) on the PC, just to say that Nintendo had nothing to do with it.

  • This song sounds a bit off pitch than the n64 version

  • yea..... the only black casat in my nintendo64 collection of games ... <3

  • @XXNeMo818XX i rekon the primagens lightship was epic as well

  • @frozen2558

Actually for me, using the n64, even with the expansions pack I was contantly struggling with lag. It really sucks because you cant aim properly and the movement is a bit sluggish because of it.

  • compare the first minute of this song with InFlames - Take This Life... theres apart of that song around 2:09 that sounds a lot like this Turok song :)
