ganz ehrlich...was auch immer es für ne rasse ist. mein kind dürfte meinen hund nie so nerven! ein hund ist kein spielzeug und nicht zur belustigung da. ob er das nun toleriert oder nicht.... nur weils so schön aussieht..... hmmm...find ich fragwürdig. und generell zu sagen "alle leonberger lieben kinder" finde ich auch fragwürdig..

es ist schön, dass der hund in dem video so ruhig ist...... aber nur weil ein hund geduldig ist, sollte er sich nicht alles gefallen lassen müssen...

probably one of the most tolerant dog races in the world. was in a fight between 3 of these once, one female did not get along with the others, i was watching the dogs for a friend, it was a 2 on 1, both of the two were 75 kilos and the aggressive female was around 60. i got them apart with no injury to the dogs other than a lost tooth, couldnt use my hand for about 2 weeks (dogs bite in blind aggression) and i have never been that exhausted in my entire life - so be careful if you want big dogs

Dogs and babies. My dog will go next door and let the nieghbors 12 month old twins beat on him, pull his fur, poke him, pull his tail, climb all over him and he just loves it. He goes there and lays on their lawn and just lets them use him for a playground set. BUT NO...I tell him to get off the couch and he barks at me. I grab the fur around the back of his neck to pull his stubborn butt out of the way and he growls.

Und dann wundert man sich wieder wenn in der Zeitung steht: Hund biss Kind, der sonst so liebenswürdige Leonberger, konnte sich nicht mehr anders helfen als dass er zubiss, ob er eingeschläfert werden soll darüber wird noch diskutiert!!

Echt jetzt, das Kind weiß nicht was es macht und der Hund schon gar nicht, die Verantwortung liegt rein bei den Eltern!!

@maikebert Sowie die Welpen auf uns das "Kindchen-Symptom" wirken lassen, so funktioniert das auch andersrum. Hunde finden kleine Kinder genauso knuffig wie wir Welpen. Hätte der Hund je ein aggressives Verhalten gezeigt, könnte ich deine Aussage verstehen, doch so scheint es nicht der Fall gewesen zu sein. Nicht aggressive Hunde sind durchaus annehmbar für kleine Kinder und wenn sie mal etwas nicht dulden oder das Kind geht zuweit, dann zeigen sie es auf sanfte weise. Niemals Brutal.
