  • Hey, Reformed Baptist! I'm Independent Baptist with HEAVY Reformed sympathies...and Amen to the last minute...how I WISH that everyone would grow up a bit, have Calvinists and Arminians embrace eachother...and realize that their differences, while serious...are hardly damnable. How I wish that preterists and futurists could simply realize that both theology was prevalent in the 2nd and 3rd century church, and everyone just co-existed.

How I pray that the Church would be better unified!

  • @msm1876 amen to that!

  • I read the 1689 confessions and agree with a lot of it. I'm newly out of the WT and haven't been able to go to a church yet (my wife is still a JW).There are a few things that I had a hard time with in the confessions of faith in regards to predestination of all men before the founding of the world, especially as it relates to the original sin and our own free will to decide. But I think I identify with this much more than anything else. I'm not sure where reformed baptists meet in my town though

  • @TitusChapter1Verse11 glad you took the time to read it. And I agree that the predestination stuff is very difficult to grasp. I was very much against it, then spent some time wrestling with it, and now I embrace it. But even if you never accept it, I would never consider you less of a brother in Christ. Its an important issue, but not a "damnable" issue. Anyway, if you want to know where Reformed Baptists meet, go to founders [dot] org and you can search for them in your town.

  • @TitusChapter1Verse11 Also, if you every want to discuss "reformed theology" or whatever else, feel free to email me or let's arrange to talk on the phone.

  • 'Zup brotha'. Good video, man! Hey, are you still playing with "The Status"? If so, tell my buddy Ben Grant I said hello. I used to play music with him at N. GA Church at SNA about 8 years ago or so. Peace.

  • @jrichard1977 hey, thank you! Yeah, still playing with The Status and i'll definitely tell him you said hello. I think I was going to N. GA church at that time but not sure if I remember you. Anyway, looks like we're interested in a lot of the same topics, we should get together for coffee sometime!

  • Dear Mike, you should not be in association with any religion. If you really believe his words at John 14:6 and John 15:5, you whould not be in association with any religion.

  • @msm1876 Yes, PLEASE. I just can't seem to fit it in to free will.

  • @TitusChapter1Verse11 Hey, Titus, can I give you a hand with predestination?
