The guys n I go Sky Diving in the summer of 2006!! it's absolutely one of the most amazing experiences that any of us has ever had. everyone has to try it at least once in their lifetime. If time and money wasn't an issue, I'd be jumping out of a plane every morning before breakfast! ;-)
this video is dedicated to all the those crazy maniacs who've jumped 14000 feet out of a flying airplane !

@shrumples1997 way safer to jump out of a plane at 14000 feet with ad instructor than to jump off off off a 30 foot cliff. skydiving is about over coming your fears

The ballon is actually called a drougue chute. its deployed right away to help stabilize during freefall and help maintain a more controlled fall rate. it also makes a cleaner deployment for the main canopy by giving it a "anchor" in the sky, remember, thats about 2 layers of 400 square feet of nylon, all bunched into a bag the size of your keyboard
