Good thing it works, haha, at least my suggestion to a fellow hobbyist is in the right track :D
Okay, will be waiting for your video, don't quite get what you mean...sorry :D Thanks a lot

Yeah, it grows really well. Just make sure you grow a nice bunch in advance and start adding some ferts a couple of weeks in to feed new growth.
I was thinking about putting suckers on drift wood and adding a ledge across the back wall too... I will get a video up sooner or later and let you know if it works out ;]

i would like to do a kind of moss mountain in my 47 gallon cichlid tank. I intend to get at least 8 of those coconut cave java moss things at petco and stack them (and if ok hot glue them together) and make a kind of pyramid out of them and let them grow into a mound of moss. what do you think? good idea, terrible idea?

Sounds interesting, I never tried coconut shell before :(....but I know it will work, just like tying moss on to driftwood. my experience with hot glue is that it will come off after sometime contact with water :(....use silicone instead :D

hi I made a great wall for my 30inch tank
Using baking mesh from the pound shop which sinks and is quite heavy duty I then used a large darning needle and some 6lb fishing line to attatch the clumps of moss (remember to squeeze excess water out first lol otherwise you end up with an embarrasing wet patch in your jeans) Unlike the video I attatched the moss to the outside and suckers behind-(please try to use good quality rubber suckers they will last a whole lot longer
