Lies,
more Lies...
& even more Lies
Abukid is a troll/lurker, a user who's activity on Youtube is to post unsubstantiated anti-Catholic diatribe. He does not reveal anything of his denomination, church, pastor etc but sees fit to slander and denigrate all and anything about the Catholic Church. In fact he makes a point of visiting many Catholic videos to leave inane comments, much like a drive-by shooter.
Many users ask him to answer questions...but he never does. He reverts to ad hominems an insults.
He does not engage in civil discussion or debate, and seems to be a stranger to the concept of 'respect'.This he does in the shadows of anonymity, believing he will escape scrutiny.
Sadly for him, he has become my special project. He is being called to account for the lies he has posted. But something happened on August 5th, 2011 which exemplifies the true nature of this user....a perfect example of lying. I will explain.....
I asked him the following question: "Don't you believe that everything which is written in the Bible is scriptural?"
The following is a screen capture of the question:
And his response was: "Ahhh, yeah. Better than what you spew in this room...LOL"...
Ah my...he's a veritable fountain of eloquence...
See the screen capture for his response :
My response to him :
"don't you believe that everything which is written in the Bible is scriptural...because you said you don't believe that.
Would you like me to post your comment? Wonderful...here it is...:
"Jesus knows because He knows His Scripture.What Peter said is not Scriptural"
So...what Peter said is NOT scriptural. This is what you said. Peter's words are in the Bible...thus they are 'scriptural'...but you say they are not.
Idiotic"
Screen capture of the response :
The quote I found from him,"Jesus knows because He knows His Scripture.What Peter said is not Scriptural" is found on another video called "Errors of Protestantism: The Church" by user NotByBreadAlone77. The url for the video is : http://youtu.be/SltCAzwkyHE
Here is the screen capture of his actual comment :
Notice the phrase in the small red box.
He clearly states:
"What Peter said is not Scriptural"
Now...going back to the first video and his response to this comment of his...he seemingly copied my discovery ....but something strange happened. The word "not" has suddenly disappeared in the phrase " What Peter said is not Scriptural". The phrase now reads, as he posted, pretending to copy and paste:
"Jesus knows because He knows His Scripture.What Peter said is in the Scripture"
A completely different meaning. It also means he lied about what he said.
Screen capture of that response:
Now one can only conclude that he attempted to cover up his error....instead of admitting it was an error. So he is now caught in a circle of lies which, sadly, do not end here. There are many questions many users, in particular baldonebear, have put to him, with great patience and understanding. We still wait for answers from abukid.
I still require clarification from abukid about these comments of his:
1) "If Christ worship like a Jew and you say you follow Him. Then, that's like a slap in the face of God."
So...to imitate Christ is a slap in the face of God??
2) "Some people right now are living in eternal life without getting sick, hungry and sadness."
So....there are people walking among us NOW...who will not die...right?
3) This last one is a question from me. I've been asking abukid for 6 months, at least.
"Christ and others referenced writings not found in the Bible...point out those passages"
And so we wait for the liar to answer.
Abukid...wild chicken...time to wake up....the rooster is crowing....
Oh I see. Perhaps abukid is from Bicol province w/c is why I'm not familiar with the term. How I could forget that we have different dialects spoken here in the Phils. lol. Anyway, thank you. I most appreciate it. :)

@832existentialiste
Hello! I came across a reference to the term 'abukid' in an article about an an island I think of the Philippines called Catanduanes. The writer said this: " Wild chicken or "abukid" are at times sold as pets by ambulant vendors. The look is no different from a domesticated chicken but I think its smaller and lighter"
I read elsewhere that 'Bicol' is the local dialect and I suspect 'abukid' is bicol, but tagalog is spoken as well.
But I think the definition fits 'abukid'

@mapollo
Yes. The SDA and LDS came from the second wave.
There were different waves, and the results of one led to the start of another.

"A lot of crazy movements happened in the USA after the so-called Great Awakening."
Hold on...this almost sounds like an episode of the X-files! Didn't all those groups (SDA, Mormons etc) all come out generaly the same time and same area (geographically)??

@mapollo
Not if it is the mainline CoG. They are a Pentecostal group that was formed in 1919-1920...not exact on that.
Wait...CAtholic29 said that he was CoG Holiness. Haha, ya, this was formed in the late 1800's out of the Holiness movement, and if I am not mistaken, the founders were from the Methodist Church.
A lot of crazy movements happened in the USA after the so-called Great Awakening.
The Holines CoG is more intense than the regular Pentecostal CoG.

By the way...have you notice that an eerie silence has desended upon the enchanted forest?

"The CoG believes it and it alone is the true Church."
I overlooked the CoG end of it. You are right. It explains a lot. Aren't they the ones that also push the idea of the 'home church'?

Ahh...I was not sure if he was a Pent or not.
Well that explains much. The CoG believes it and it alone is the true Church.
