Someone complained that the speed comparison video I posted before might have been unfair to Blackberry Bold since we don't know the wifi speeds used.
I admit that might have been the case to a some degree because I have 24/1Mb DSL-line which I used in the first video.
Nonetheless it is safe to say that mobile Safari can't really render the pages as fast as the connection itself would allow. It pretty much doesn't get any advantage using speeds beyond 2-3Mbps.
So, here's another video - this time I capped the wifi to 1Mbps and tested both the 3G and EDGE networks too. I must warn all you BB-lovers, you might not like what you are about to see.
No, I'm not a Blackberry hater though I probably qualify as an Apple-lover. In my opinion, all this video clearly shows is that the Bold's browser needs some serious work. Let's all hope that RIM does their optimizations sooner rather than later :)
Don't hate.
Music by Glenn Miller, the song is titled "Don't sit under the apple tree"
Yeah, you're not a blackberry hater...OK keep lying to yourself. The bold just came out and the iphone has TWO GENERATIONS of software updates in the bag, just give RIM some time like u did (oh so willingly) for apple.

Did you bother reading the description? I clearly mentioned, that in my opinion, BB's browser seems to need some work. So, we agree I think.
Besides, how could I possibly be Blackberry-hater when I've never even hold one in my hand?
The video here is posted to test iPhone browsing speed, mostly as a reply to the comments I received for more direct Blackberry/iPhone comparsion video. Comments to that video raised a point about wifi-speeds, so I decided to post this video to address that issue.
