A dark violin playing in sadness and confusion over thousands of WW I graves . "Known unto god" means that only god knows the name of the soldier who lie buried here.

  • I thought I was the only one who felt a weird sense of peace and an unbearable sadness while at a cemetery. I remember the days when I would stand on a bridge that over looked a cemetery for hours. I would like to go back in time and listen to this music while standing on that bridge.

  • @chaa782 Loved your comment, you are right - there is peace.

  • hauntingly beautiful

  • Oh gosh, I can't stand looking at cemeteries. It gives me an eerie feel. Like the dead souls are watching you, as you watch them. But it makes me sad.

  • amazing and sad....i will never lose respect for those who died for our freedom..altho if you look at the world now...there is no freedom...

  • Did you actually make the song?

  • A very dark song, and I loved the footage of the graveyard. I wish I could see it. The song is depressing but not dull and in some sense puts you in slow motion. I liked the song.

  • this is a beautiful and yet mysterious peice of music, so peaceful yet haunting?

there is only two words to descibe this music...'true art' :)

  • very good

  • @maxablitzer Its really tragic. War is a odious thing.

  • i come here everyday now to regain my composer. awesome piece, audio n video. standing ovation. bravo~
