The poetic "Rebecca and Savanah" is about two uncommonly gifted Middle School girls who form a bond over each others recent personal tragedies and how their friendship helps them get through the year together.

In "Janelle's Novella" project, Janelle contemplates writing a novella in three days while musing on the NBA playoffs, "Twilight," Disney celebrities, and Twitter, amoung other things.

The haunting "Pink Frost" is about how Cassy tries to escape from her abusive father by trading places with herself in a parallel dimension.

In M. the V. (Mortimer the Vampire), popular and pretty Lizzy's life and dreams are interrupted when three mysterious and beautiful magical foreign exchange students from England show up at her high school, thrusting her in the midst of their centuries old drama involving a vampire, dragon, and fairy.
