Why I'm No Longer at TWiT

I never "went off" or "ranted" or "bitched" about Leo. Supportive fans started questioning the sustainability of my show, and Leo turned that, in bad faith, into an excuse to torpedo me as a potential competitor -- this time by convincing Premiere Radio to withdraw their Nov 17 offer to have me fill in as "The Tech Guy." By the end of this video, I think you will understand which person has been behaving dishonorably and who has been "sliming" whom.

Leo's insistence that he was "mentoring," "coaching," and "grooming" me as his "protégé" to "replace" him is 100% untruthful. He said little more than "hello" to me since hiring me in 2009. He rejected all my requests to meet since 2010, he stopped responding to my emails Aug 10, and he fired me via text message Nov 19 with no discussion. He used every opportunity to reduce my airtime, limit my exposure, and withhold essential support -- all while telling people I needed more of his "mentoring" before I could *really* be on the air. To this day, I have not received one word of criticism or feedback from Leo regarding my on-air performance.

I seek only to clear my name and salvage my career. I have done nothing wrong to Leo or to anybody, and you already know me as a conscientious, truth-oriented person who cares deeply about fairness. I appreciate your support.

Erik, in your video, I noticed many verbal digs toward you by Lisa. When I watched this video, I had no idea Leo & Lisa were in a relationship.

As someone who JUST learned of this whole debacle, let me say that I suspect Lisa had more to do with your 'firing' than you might think. The woman who "sleeps with the boss", whether it be a wife or girlfriend, has A LOT OF INFLUENCE.

Cream rises to the top, and Erik, you are cream. You WILL SUCCEED. You have too much natural ability not to.

Ok, I'm not trying to be a "Leo-pologist", I just want to add a bit of the other side to this. From Leo's perspective he's running a business (not a view I completely agree with). He had an employee that railed against the company in a public forum. If this happened in any company the employee would be fired. I'm not saying either side is 100% right, because I know it's not true. Leo shouldn't have strung Erik along. But Erik should've aired his grievances with Leo in a private setting.

Wow! I stumbled across this video by accident but Im glad I watched it. Ive listened to TWIT for a long time (2005/6) and have noticed that when the mics and cams arent rolling for a show Leo is a different person. This video is terrible though, he was looking for an excuse - clear as day.

Wow, I just lost total respect for Leo, he publicly humiliated Erik numerous times, and what Erik said on his show was no where near that. All the while Leo is messing around with his bookkeeper/CEO. Try to go into the twitlive chat room and speak your mind and you get banned.
