Hey Adam, my name is Jake T. I am interested in doing some minor Flash animations. I've already done a few, but i keep running into the same problem.
What file format do you export to? I've tried .swf, but obviously you can't upload that to Ytube. I've tried .mov, but I get lots of frame and quality loss. I've also fiddled with .avi, but I get the same problems as with .mov.
Anyway, I love your work and I thank you for being an inspiration to me. If you answer, thanks in advance!

How did you do that gradinate-like shang? And the grass, mountains! EVERYTHING?!
I envy your wook!

These programs are so friggin expensive...
Anyway, when (or how) do you decide that you're gonna use Toon Boom on this project or Flash on that project...?

nice work, you're movies always have a nice fluid feel to them. but I have a question.
normally, when I'm animating in flash, I kind of try and make each line perfect. but now I'm starting to think, if its moving fast enough only the non-moving key frames need detail to them. would you agree with this?

That's true.. if you frame-by-frame my action sequences, you'll often see how I've skimped on detail to lighten the workload and make the scene more playable (SWF in the Flash player). A good example of this is the animated backgrounds in 'the Yuyu'.
When movement is slow or subtle, that's when you need to be careful with linework and showcase all your lovely background/character detail :)
