1962 film full of over-the-top dialogue. While not exactly the silent original, this is a great piece of early sixties psycho-pomp.

  • Well, she did a ton of films, including some Disney. this one sort of fell in the middle and oddly enough didn't hurt her career at all.

  • The "how old were you when you first let a man make love to you" monologue was sampled at the beginning of Nine Inch Nails' cover of "Get Down Make Love"

  • Guess nobody's got the complete 1962 movie. My grandmother told me it's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bad.

  • NOW. TELL ME. YES!

  • I like this movie. The trailer is not good. It's a movie about delusion. The woman sees the world disconnected from reality. The surprise ending brings all the loose ends together and if you don't expect the silent film version may have sympathy for Jane (Glynis Johns).

  • That's what I want to know. Now, tell me. Now, now, all of it. Yes!

  • its a film made by Ed Wood?

  • What??? I never knew there was a (bad) 1962 remake of Caligari!

  • hahaha this is hilarious!
