  • I remember watching this trailer on tv here in Adelaide Australia back in early 1978. As a kid back then,I preferred (yes, preferred) The Rescuers to Star Wars(!). I still love it today. Its a pity DIsney never made a third Rescuers movie like they had planned.

  • looks like chip and dale tv show

  • I loooooved this movie as a kid and watched it again as an adult and it was BETTER than I remembered!! I'm so glad it was a success, it deserved it.

  • @Johnlindsey289 No, i didn't know that. Rescuers Down Under turned out ot be a great sequel though.

  • @TheAltair4

Here's an interesting fact you don't know, did you know that The Rescuers was gonna have a TV show but was changed to Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and went for a sequel instead? true fact.

  • @Chookie369 u and me both!

  • @AMB33ZY If you can believe it, during Bernard and Bianca's flight, on the VHS copies some people reported seeing a image of a topless woman in the midst of the scenery. Go figure.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Why???/

  • @TheBookWorm1718: Unfortunately I never got to see the original theatrical trailer. My guess is that it did so well because it was getting spill-over audiences from "Star Wars", which was packing theaters over capacity and Multiplex theater audiences would often go to other movies in order to wait for available seats in the theater in which "Star Wars" was playing.

  • @reynard61 I wonder what the original theatrical trailer looked like? They had to have good advertisements for it to break the record of biggest hit for the opening weekend, never to be beaten until An American Tale 15 years later.
