Gelding a horse doesn't make it gay, it just makes the planet have one less breeding horse and therefore helps stop overpopulation of them.

No, he doesn't become gay. He become gelded because gelded horses are significantly easier to handle especially around mares. Furthermore, there is an extreme overpopulation of unwanted horses in the United States and therefore unless an animal has great confirmation, temperament, and ability it doesn't need to be bred. Also, horse slaughter is banned in the United States so unwanted horses are often crammed onto overcrowded trailers and shipped to Mexico or Canada.
