I've always loved this tune. The lyrics change up here and there depending upon who is singing it on a particular recording; nothing so drastic as to change the gist of the song.
I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this really cool jazz standard.
As always, thanks so much for coming by and listening!

Carol: Greetings! Really nice rendition of this song! (You also seem to have all the "moves" down for a stage performance!)... regarding the Harmony guitar... I don't know anything about the brand history, but I have an old electric 12-string beauty that I picked up at a yard sale 20 or so years ago... Haven't played it in a loooong while - might be time to take it out of the closet!

Excellent singing Carol, your timbre of voice is tailor-made for this Musical style and man I love this style, always a decent chord sequence (like Ray Charles used to state) and good melody. Songs from a great Era in Music, and as a guitarist my eyes also fall on that beauty there in the Corner,is that your Dads Jazz guitar, sure would like to hold her in my hands for a second or two,LOL,greets Vic.

Vic- Thank you so much for coming by and giving a listen to my covers. Regarding the guitar - yes! That was dads "blondie" as he called it. Man he loved that thing. I wish I knew more about it... I can say that the plate on the front says "Harmony" but I can swear there are other letter up at the head - way too worn to read. A friend on here said perhaps it was an obscure brand made to look like a Gibson? I think that's what they said.

Vic - One thing for certain. Dad was playing that puppy well before I was born and I'm 54. Any suggestions as to where I can look online to find out what it might be?
