Alien Ant Farm - Attitude drums cover

There are a few mistakes here, namely the splashes at 3:30 and 4:44, I always find those hard to get right. I also get the fill at 2:48 slightly mixed up.

It took a lot of patience to get a take that was 100% right, and I didn't quite manage it, but I'd say that this is around 98% and I'm happy with that :-)

Anyway, as far as the cover goes I hope this helps some people :)

good playing, very acurate with your drags during the roll in the verse. I had to learn this song couple of months back for college and i enjoyed playing it. Only advice i could give you is dynamics, there was no change throughout. You need to play softer during the verse with your snare, then creshendo during the chorus with the rythem on the cymbols. Thats what gives this song a boost. Other that that great job! very acurate x

thanks for the kind words & advice. I think i did use the dynamics but a combination of me not being to hear myself through the ear defenders and the mic on the camera have pretty well eliminated it... i've had this problem before :P ahh well :) cheers

Great job you did there especially with the cymbal work. This might just be my own preference but your snare sounded a bit 'dry' and tended to overshadow the rest of the kit. You should try putting some duct tape on the head to dampen the sound and see if you like it better that way.
