Yes,nung or nwung means 'you' in the Bodo language.And yes we have many similar sounding words to mean the same concept in the many Tibeto-Burmese Languages of these region.

No Assamese and Bengalis are two different groups of people.And the language and singer of this video is from another group "Bodo". Btw all these three gropus are present in the state of Assam
