Having used PC for 10 years, I have seen the blue screen of death once... I restarted my computer and nothing was wrong.

@Bulldog22031 thats funny because my friends laptop had a bluescreen on bootup last week, i had to fix it for him. it turns out that it was a driver issue with his WiFi card.

Guess what the problem was? 2 drivers... one made by the manufacturer, one made by microsoft. Microsoft prioritize use of their own drivers.

@ovidiugr That was also more than 10 years ago.

We actually HAD money in the US. We were not bombing the shit out of everyone in sight. And personal computers were just really taking off.

It was an entirely different world back then. But still, even though I used those system, I have only seen the blue screen once. It really isn't a huge deal. If you know what the errors mean on the blue screen, you realize it's not that big of a deal.
