BUAYA SEMINAR
Crocodile Ground Work Sub-system

This seminar covers the basics of the Crocodile Groundwork Sub-system of SSBD. Due to the devistating nature of the techniques instructed, they are NOT meant for sport application or competitions. The ground work done in SSBD are done in a way so that we can use our knives more efficiently, it is not meant for fighting unarmed or fighting fairly, those attributes comes with the process.

These techniques are not for self defence on the streets or for scoring points in a competition.

The seminar topics are just "options" when confronted with dangers in unfamilar environment. Not as a set or specific technique that you have to do. Everything has a place in its own time. If a person is fortunate he may never have to use the movements taught in the seminar in his life time, but muggings and attacks happend in places where you least expect them to be - rainy muddy parks, wet small alleys, slippery dark corners, icy pathways, etc; environment where you may find yourself on the ground weather you want to be there or not. Muggers and attackers usually choose environments and situations that are more advantageous to them and inconvinient for the victim, having some knowledge of what to do during these "times of less fortunate" may help to lessen the risk of injury or death in the victims part.

As this is a promotional video, the complete set of movements which makes the techniques work are not shown. An experienced martial artist will know that "what you dont see is what makes things work".

In the history of any country, no war or revolution is fought unarmed, it involves weapons of any kind. Think about it.

Feedbacks from the seminar, during and after the event was very encouraging. Everyone wanted to know more about Bruneian Martial Arts and Brunei Darussalam in general.

I would like to convey my deepest appreciation to all those who participated for their openess and determination to attend the Bruneian Martial Arts Seminar. Christian Alfano, Tony Nowak, Ivano Buzzi, Alex Bombana, Manuelle Merlin, Luca Pegoraro, Michele, etc for being great individuals for enduring the responsibility as my recievers in the seminar, and everyone that helped me in this seminar and thier patience in accepting what I have taught. Robert Bozic, Jarko and Victoria who came from far away. My only hope I have not disappointed anyone who participated. My apologies if I miss anyone for whom credit was due or mistakes are made in any spelling, please contact me to correct it.

My THANK YOU also to everyone for the surprise "advanced" Birthday Party. SSBD is one family.

  • @slouttop "YOU DON'T HAVE TO INJURE THE ATTACKER, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS A KNIFE." That is the biggest load of bull-$#!@ that you've been spoon fed from some pathetic and bad instructors who claim to be masters. YES YOU HAVE to hurt someone to get them to stop. Why the hell do you think cops carry mace, batons, AND guns?! I bet you train some kind of tae kwon do, board breaking black belt factory don't you... the ones that give out black belts if you sign up for 2 years.... *SIGH****

  • @bizzyeco u have no clue at all dude this exact system has shaped world maps . if u studied our style u 'ld know that we don't just learn 2 fight we learn our history of many family systems as well .this is currently employed 2 hunt down terrorists in malaysia /philipines/indo china /indonisia THIS WAS DEVELOPED & IS STILL USED OVER THE LAST FEW THOUSAND YRS . think about it if u can take knives ,guns ,spears ,ect. away from multiple opponents , u can certainly kill them wyl still armed

  • @motley0crue12 50 % of all your training is when your opponent is ramed & u r not so u must uterly destroy their ability 2 fight at all ( most of the tym u take it away from them as well .so that u can kill all of their armed frends as well . so yes it works very well against a boxer if u employ the skills correctly

  • @Maul565 wanted 2 say hello from memphis kali group looking soo 4ward 2 learning from u when u come here much respect from all of us .i've been wing chun & now evolving n2 a jkd practitioner & in the process i've dicovered my luv of silat & kali as well .luv 2 feel like a student all over again .always a fan of your teaching technique .(perfect flow & adaptability

  • ok can someone answer me. Does silat defend well against boxing, mma? i want a good self defense system, but unless it defends well against almost everything i wont be doing it.

  • @bizzyeco I think no one uses it in fights coz silat moves are created to kill and not for sports actually. its used to defend a country, so it is for killing.

  • i dont think this will work in a real fight

  • Where can I learn this in NYC????

  • @Maul565
