Roy Orbison - Only the Lonely (Cover)

A few years ago someone out at karaoke asked me if I could sing this song but I didn't know it very well so I started listening to it. I grew to love it, although I've only sang it publicly a few times. This is one of several songs I recorded at Osceola Studios in Raleigh, NC. It was my first time in a studio and the super-sensitive microphone took some getting use to! I had to back away from the mic on the louder notes so much it looks like I'm going to fall down. :o) This was recorded in one take, except for the very end where for the life of me, I couldn't get the timing down on that last line. I guess I've become dependent on the karaoke screen! :o) THANKS to everyone who has commented, subscribed, and otherwise refrained from heckling me! Anyway, I hope you like it!

I have one question for you Scott which will prob. sound stupid to you, if you don't mind answering,just curious!.You had stated above "it was your first time in a studio".How was your "unchained melody" recorded?

@HIMEESE Thanks again for your comments! Unchained Melody was recorded in a bar :o) I believe you can hear some people talking in the background at the beginning... It was professionally recorded, but unlike at a studio, it was basically recorded straight to a CD so there was no way to edit any mistakes. I had to get it right all in one take, or record the whole song again. Luckily, it only took one time! Thanks again!
