Beyonce Lip Syncing?

I saw someone do something similar with Celine Dion performances so I thought I'd give it a shot.

There has been some speculation as to whether or not Beyonce has been lip syncing her "Love On Top" performances. It started with an incredible performance at the VMAs while pregnant.

Shortly after, an audio file of her mic feed leaked and was supposedly the hard proof that it was indeed live. I took that audio and layered it over the only other live performance I could find which was Live at Roseland.

This is what it sounds like. Notice how it basically sounds like one voice with a slight echo? For comparison, I layered that same audio from the VMAs over the original studio track (I'm unaware of any other versions I could have used) which I will upload when I get a chance and while there are a few parts that have that similar reverb effect, overall you can clearly hear two different voices.

Does this guarantee that Beyonce lip syncs? Perhaps not, I suppose there is always a possibility that someone is just that good, but let's be honest, it is doubtful. And considering Beyonce has indeed lip synced for other occasions and how typical it is in the pop music industry, it shouldn't come as a total shock.

She only on these because she was pregnant on both performances. Every pregnant woman knows its harder to breath wen your pregnant. Fact. She still sang the hell out of it.

@agators212 Ok, that's true. But have you considered this- Beyonce sang live at the concert, and they used this version on the DVD??? Can u check witha few amateur recorded versions from people at the concert?

@TheDanradcliffe no one is that good. not even trained opera singers. its lipped otherwise there would be slight differences in rhythm, timing, phrasing, and embelishments. do the same thing to any early mariah performance and you'll see that as consistant as she is always had something different to show it was live. do that to mariah now especially on her high belts now its all lipped

Beyonce didn't lip-sync. She's really that good, just like the old Mariah and Celine. Check out other tough songs of hers, she may b doing the sam stuff, but each time its clearly live. I am yet to see a lip-synced b prf. d u hv any?
