Civil Rights Violation and Police Harassment at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, VA

The following video was taken after Marcus Pittman, a student of Thomas Nelson, was shut down from preaching the Gospel in the courtyard of Thomas Nelson Community College.

Before preaching Marcus called the Student Activities department and was told that the entire campus was a free speech area.

The officer has no understanding of constitutional law or free speech.

Police Officer Johnson says in the video
"Keep your religion to yourself"
"You can preach all you want inside your own car"
"It's lawful until it becomes unlawful"

He also states that he is protecting us by shutting down our right to free speech.

The Female officer whose name is Officer Shannon stated that "You can't turn this into a religious forum" and told the police that she wanted to "take his camera"

There were several other violations of our rights including threatening to arrest Jeff Keeney who was holding the camera for "Obstructing Justice"

So far the Alliance Defense Fund lawyers have been contacted.

If these guys are so religious...why aren't they Christ-Like and do what Jesus did. He suffered , these guys can't even do what they are told to do...I bet they don't practice what they preach. They should have just kept silent , done what they were told to do, and then go on, thats what it says in the scriptures. Instead they instigate and keep these officers from doing their job. @MickScarborough Just because there is no court over the supreme court doesn't mean it can't be wrong. We have jury nullification, and the 5th amendment of the Constitution to road block their bad decisions.
