@loupgarou5z3w It was not aimed at Bush, he is never mentioned. Kerry's service record is at best disputed, and that fact cost him alot of votes from undecided citizens during that election. It's absurd because it presumes that Kerry, himself a vet with a distinguished record of voluntary service in Vietnam, despises all US troops, including, perhaps, himself.

@fester2306 Sorry for myself? Where did that come from? No self-pity involved. My brother has served two tours in Iraq, and I find Kerry's remarks, and yours, to be extremely ignorant. I knew they could take care of themselves before I read your comments, and the fact that they can take care of themselves doesn't mean it's okay to belittle them or their service to you, me, and the rest of the country. It actually makes it a lot worse, IMO.
