@raargh2 And they're actually continuing the story with the four new movies after this. With 1.11 it seems like they just adapted the series into movie form, but with the end of 2.22 it is obvious that it's actually a continuation; not a remake.

EoE works as epilogue to the serie
just one warning: some think episode 25/26 and EoE are 2 different finales. They are not. They complete each other.
EoE is what ep25/26 had to be if the producers werent risking bankrupt during the making
thats why ep25/26 are so strange. They are unfinished. When money arrived thanks to it's success, they completed it with this movie

NGE it's a 26 episodes serie made in 1995. This scene is taken from End of Evangelion, the movie that conclude the serie
i warn you tho, it's not your typical anime. it has tons of references to history, sci-fi books, philosophy, psychology and christian/ebrew mythology. It require a certain level of knowledge or will to research the references to be fully understood

@dagdamor1 YEAH!!!! Rebuild is gonna change EVERYTHING! Just knowing the fact thay Shinji is manly makes me very happy :D Can't wait for 3.0 and 4.0 :D
