I just found this video and have to admit that it's marvellous: A real movie about a wonderful garden railway! I build a railway in my garden momentarily, but I doubt that I'm going to reach this high level of perfection. Congratulations, it's a pleasure to watch.

Lovely video Paul - that's some tight clearance on the tunnel, just like the real thing I know, but I don't suppose you'll be running many Irish vehicles :-)

We could try it with the Irish stock if you like, might scrape the door-handles a little though.

Hi Paul a real delight to watch like all your films I just keep watching them all The camera work just gets better keep it up hope fully My Garden railway will be as good as yours

Thanks Paul. I follow my most basic principle of viewing it from the perspective of an actual by-stander. Keep the camera as low as possible and make sure the scene looks convincing. It's taken 9 years and a lot of experimenting and changing of things along the way to get the railway to it's current standard, there's still areas that I'm not happy with. It's an ongoing process.

Must be cold in England now, what with those steam plumes!

Hi Matthew. Don't tell nayone, but I did cheat slightly. the video is half actual speed. It gives the exhaust beat a deeper tone. Weather here has just started turning colder, the mornings are crisp and cold now. Waiting for a cold day to see what spectacular sort of steam plume the Ogwen will create.
