In this video I rough out the Baltic birch plywood that I'll be piecing together for my desk project. I talk about inches verses metric and explain that I will do my best to incorporate both in this series.

You will see me using the following tools and machines: General table saw, Festool jig saw, Festool vacuum, Festool rapid action clamps, Festool track saw, Festool track connectors. NOTE: I also show the custom 2-sided box I made to store my Festool track saw guides and accessories. And you'll see my Festool vacuum station.

@abigor315 I would leave the Imperial system completely but it is not possible here in the US. But the crazy thing is I see how many fewer mistakes are made using metric calculations and how much easier it is to work to a higher level of accuracy, that it makes me really sad to think of all the money and energy wasted here by using an inferior measuring system.
