your core units do not actually effect the battle puzzle. Have done extensive tests on the Holy Griffin Empire puzzles and used a handful of combinations, and the color and unit type of every unit in the puzzle was exactly the same

@Dcon6393 Weird because I checked mine with someone else's solutions and their were different unless they just remembered or wrote it down wrong.

I played this game for DS, now i have it for 360, Dcon6393 is correct, it doesn't matter what units you have equipped when you start a puzzle, all of the units and colors are preset into the game
