  • not sure id call it a rush that late in the game...more like an air zerg...Rush implies a very fast attack. This usually takes place early in the game(so I guess this could be a rush in the sense of the word, but in terms of the use in video games its usually regarded as an early attack on a player before they are ready) My cybran gunship rushes took place at like 5-10 minutes into the game(as if I can remember exact times) and I usually took out the Commander Unit for the player I attacked.

  • @TheIDCBear rush is also a option for coming over someone with unbelievable power and overwhelming number of units/forces... that's why i choosed "rush"

  • And rushing is when you are attack before the 3 minute mark,or your use to your battles lasting hours long.

  • i see more epic air attacks this is only 10 ac1000 terrors with 3 air fort

  • @Dealman15 in a match i played on one of the DLC maps 4vs4 i played uef and the guy on the other team attacked us with cicadas and monkeylords...i builted immidiately jackhammers and fatboys but jackhammers needed a lot of mass and when i tried to hit the cicadas from far away the shell hit the cloaked monkeylords so in the end i couldnt kill them and they came close and destroyed all of my base... so basically you can killl them only with air and naval.

  • @stayris256gr Cicadas, and I usually do that. But they can still be seen by other units. And that Strategy is not ideal when you have more than 5 Monkeylords as they'll be pushing eachother all over the place.

    And Air isn't their only weakness, Jackhammers are cheaper and faster to produce and easily take down a Monkeylord if 2-3 Jackies.

  • @Dealman15 and also you can stealth them too with siscada so they are a lot hard to get them even with 500 light artillery and shields...their only weakness is air

  • @Dealman15 yes but still 1 monkeylord is 5 collosus(in damage and health) it also has anti-air and in sc1 it had stealth too. and i think that in sc1 it had more range cause to the dual laser cannons on the front.

  • @stayris256gr Not really, thanks to the bad Collision Boxes and Pathfinding. 50 Monkeylords would practically be impossible to maneuver. The Collision Box on the Monkeylords are roughly like 40% bigger, and the pathfinding in Supreme Commander 2 is inferior to Supreme Commander 1.

  • @Dealman15 we are talking about non-DLC ;) in DLC 50 monkeylords are epic
