  • Danny Elfman is a master!!!!

  • I would buy this... but the price would actually make me unable to pay my rent, it's so unreasonably high! Seriously, the "list price" is over $600, and the Amazon.com "sale" price is over $500... I'm a huge Danny Elfman/Tim Burton fan, and the second I saw this video, I jumped over to Amazon... Big mistake. Seriously, why make an amazing product like this if it's gonna be so outlandishly priced that people can't afford it?

  • @MaximumMadnessStixon I know exactly what you mean. I did exactly what you did when I first found out about it, but the price is just staggering! I mean, only Tim and Danny's amazingly RICH fans could possibly afford it! By the time I will have managed to save up, the price will probably have doubled!

  • what was Danny Elfman band called when Tim Burton found him

  • That batman finale music is just...just..just..Bless that man. I need this.

  • @NevTheDeranged That doesn't address my point, which was that they are alienating a large portion of their fanbase who simply couldn't afford price at the time, and won't be able to afford the inflated price it will sell for in the future, due to its rarity. It's just kind of unfair. I don't understand why they couldn't make a "light" version with just the CD's and book without all of the extra stuff.

  • @MaximumMadnessStixon

Because there are people who can, and will, afford it.

  • this guy is a geniouscomposer. hes very modest but cmon, ths guy has written sooooooooooooo many amazing film themes. Batman was so awsome! his score was amazing for that, but its so hard to choose just one! they a re all great in different ways!

  • The man who got me into film scoring, I am now studying film scoring at Berklee College of Music; the cycle continues

  • The first time I noticed filmmusic as I saw edward scissorhands.

But the very first time that I was fascinated by a soundtrack (in the childhood) and felt this creepy mystery, was as I saw Beetlejuice.

    Thus: love ya, Dannyboy!
