My ideas for who could play the massive amount of Batman villains there are. I know that not all of them would appear but I did this for fun. I would love to hear your opinions on who could play the characters as well. I own nothing in this video. This is non-profit and used to express my opinions.

UPDATE: And despite this WMG still took off my original song OUR SOLEMN HOUR so I decided to use WHISPER by Evanesence instead. God I hate WMG.

Johnny Depp as Joker: As sad as Heath's passing is I don't think he wants the Joker to die with him. Johnny is the perfect kind of actor for the job in my opinion. Look at his work in Secret Window and Sweeney Todd.

Timothy Spall as Penguin: Since I saw him Sweeney Todd in his Beadle costume. He can act sinister and is the right physique for the role.

Kate Beckinsale as Catwoman: Kate has expressed interest in the role and looks like the perfect Catwoman. Look at her in the Underworld movies.

David Tennat as Riddler: David Tennant looks a lot like the Riddler and can act very well. See him in Harry Potter or Dr. Who. He's good at being quirky. He too has expressed interest in the role I gave him.

Kristen Bell as Harley Quinn: She is another actress who has said she'd like to play the role I gave her. She was great as Elle in HEROES, and I think she would make a great Harley.

Robin Williams as Hugo Strange: My first choice was John Malkovitch but since he's in the other DC movie Jonah Hex I decided not to use him. I then thought of Robin Williams. He's a great actor and can act serious. He was great in an episode of Law and Order SVU. He was considered to be Joker and Riddler in the past but lost at both, so I think he's owed the chance to play a Batman villain.

Jennifer Connelly as Talia Al Ghul: She's a really good actress and a magazine had recommended that if Talia is ever used that she should do it, and I agree.

Timothy Olyphant as Black Mask: Olyphant is a good actor and can play a good villain, like how he did in LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD.

Kate Winslet as Poison Ivy: She is a great actress, and looks the part.

Steve Buscemi as Mad Hatter: Buscemi is really good at odd roles, and would make a fantastic Mad Hatter.

John-Rhys Davies as Rupert Thorne: If they use Thorne as the next big mobster I think Davies would be great. He looks the part and has a cool voice.

Ed Harris as Mr. Freeze: It's pretty unlikely that they'll use Mr. Freeze in the Nolan series but if they did Ed Harris could do a good job. He's a good actor and could play a serious version of Mr. Freeze. He's great at playing sympathetic villains. Examples being The Rock and National Treasure 2.

Rick Moranis as Ventriloquist: He looks the part and is good at playing fidgety and unmenacing characters. Perhaps he himself or Joe Pesci could voice Scarface.

Dalip Singh as Bane: Dalip is huge, with the perfect physique for Bane. If they use Bane they should take him more seriously this time. I've heard that Dalip doesn't speak English that well, so if that's the case they could have Ron Perlman, or somebody else with a tough voice. do Bane's voice.

Gerard Butler as Maxie Zeus: Another villain I'm pretty sure they won't use but this is for fun. His look in 300 looks a lot like Maxie Zeus, and he seems like he could do a pretty good job in the role. He can play the pride and arrogance of the role well.

Zachary Quinto as Alberto Falcone: Quinto is a really good actor and seeing how great he is as Sylar tells me that he could play a great twisted Alberto Falcone.

Jason Statham as Hush: I'm still not exactly positive about this one, but he looks like he could do the part.

Ryan Gosling: Firefly was hard but I decided on Ryan Gosling since he looks like Garfield Lynns.

Dwayne Johnson as Lock-Up: I'm not 100 percent positive on this one either but he is one of the best actors that was once a wrestler. He's a good actor, and has the right build.

  • these are so bad that i could not keep a straight face...! you went only by their appearance, the character choice was so bad that it was funny.

  • @BowserBoy500

Well, glad to have at least entertained you.

  • Bane isn't a muscle head person. He's weak and small then he pumps bane into himself to get the mountain size muscles he has. A scrawnier actor would need to be cast

  • @Asen4835

In the Info Box I give my reasonings for each of the casting and I do bring to light the issue. I know he couldn't totally pull off the role so I brought up the idea of someone else doing the voice with him wearing the mask (Like James Earl Jones and David Prowse for Darth Vader) The idea I believe I gave was Ron Perlman.

  • What are your ideas for Killer Moth, Man Bat, Killer Croc, and Clayface? Nice job on the rest, btw!

  • @73windman

Thanks for the compliment. As for the ones you asked about

    *Killer Moth: Haven't decided yet

    *Man-Bat: Edward Norton

    *Killer Croc: Derek Mears

*Clayface: That's a real hard one. That's another one I'm still thinking about.

  • I really liked Kate Beckinsale as catwoman, and David Tennant as Riddler, but I am not sure a comic actor like Robin Williams would be a waste of his talents to do Hugo Strange justice as the creep he is (Robin Williams is too nice, and Hugo would be bad as comic relief),

    Just my two cents.

  • robin Williams can't be a villain, he's too nice

  • Bane is a character of mind over muscle.

  • what about Killer Croc?!

  • @STILLNOTFAMOUS777 - Honestly, any actor that can keep a straight face while dressed in a green sport coat could make a good Riddler. The character's MO is such that any movie would be forced to spend more screen time on the Riddler's traps than the Riddler himself.

  • rip maxie zues another lost soul of arkham

  • @SLPIFan I think that replacing Heath Ledger would lead to obvious continuety issues it just wouldn`t be the same, and I think he would be better then the Ridler, but I wonder I agree that Begins was the true Batman film but do you think The Dark Knight was better overall???????

  • These are actually pretty good but I stand by Heath Ledger's amazing performance and think Johnny Depp would make an outstanding Riddler

  • killer crok_the dad from everybody hates chris
