its the level of intellegence. A cow is dumb and never knows its coming. Dogs do, they are a smarter predator, like us.

@spoada That doesn't justify elevating dogs from the food chain. Science proved pigs have bigger brains, and smarter than dogs if given the chance to train with humans. It's a matter of choice. All animals are equal in value. Horses faught with men in war, cows build rail roads and plow fields. Just because they aren't expressive of their emotion doesn't unfairly make them lower than dog.

I personally do not like the taste of predator meat, i have only eaten mountain lion, which btw is legal in the usa, im pretty sure that critter is smarter and more noble than a dog, i dont understand why its ok to eat pigs but not dogs, our ancestors in europe ate dog for thousands of years, and probably at some point ate one another, you animal rights people are completely out of line, imagine if we had no pet dogs, how many kids could we feed instead of little pet dogs that serve no purpose

Americans declared dog's to be Man's best friend and they want the whole world to follow.

In truth Horses, who fight alongside men in wars, cows who build rail roads are more closer to men. Just because Cows cannot express emotion doesn't make it a lesser animal than dog.

Dog attacks on humans are highest among all animals. Dog would also eat human meat. Dogs are no different than other animals. They just got trained.

I respect filipinos who stand to defend their culture. PETA, SIRUS GAO, Green Peace etc has no business going to asia and tell people there not to eat dog. What if these asian will come to USA and demand from our senators that we stop eating beef because cows are holy, or pork because pigs are hosts for demons.
