@racerx8410712 I know, I'm not stupid :). I was just talking about button placement design. You can access volume in many ways but if someone puts a button I want it to be usable all the time (just a personal preference). Nevertheless, I'm deleting my top comment so I don't have to explain my self all the time for the 3 years old (but good) hardware.

I had a 1025 and with the exception of the power hog Vista OS I loved it! It got wine spilled on it and after having it for the last two and half years I am reminded what a good deal on it by the less powerful computers they have on sale for the same price. I had the keyboard issue once but after the fix it never happened again. Every once in a while it booted a black screen but I just redo it and it's fine (there is a fix for that too). A must for graphic designers and avid Photoshoppers.

@toooffu it comes with a remote you could use or you can access the volume on the tool bar.

I have this laptop and is a piece of shit. Im on my 4th one the first keyboard went out, second screen went out, third needed a new mother board, and now my 4th one the touch screen doesnot work when I got home and the buttons on the side screen and the button to turn wifi on and off idk if anyone else has had the same problem but me let me know I spent over 1200$ with 3 year warranty and geek squad at best buy

HP offered a windows 7 upgrade but they dident publicize it so we all got screwed out of free windows 7 and got stuck with crappy vista.

to the right of the vga port is that an svideo port? I am looking for dual monitor to my sd tv. I do not know how to hook up the vga to my tv so it is easier to use the svideo port. Please help me out if anyone knows more bout this feature or what i need to hook the vga port into my audio video(red yellow white) ports of the tv. Thanks
