Birmingham Is...

A video made about the city of Birmingham, UK. Birmingham Is... aims to evoke emotions for those living here, good or bad, as well as representing of the city of Birmingham by including some of the historical and iconic places within the city.

The work first began as part of her artist residency at MAC during April 2010, and now completed during her residency with Fierce. It will be showing as part of the Fierce Interrobang at Warwick Arts Centre 24-27 June.

Inspired by the artist residency in Tangier and the work created there as part of And'Art, Jaskirt has collaborated with Birmingham based band Killer Yogi, who made this music specifically about Birmingham too.
