My main man Kucinich! He's terrible actor but a great public servant.

Check the WHO league table for healthcare standards by country...or don't. You may be surprised if you do.

Kucinich is the reason I first registered Democrat in 2004, to vote for him in the Pres. primaries. Would've voted for him in the '08 primary too had he not dropped out before the OH primary came up.

Obama is a fascist, not a socialist...I don't like socialism but I agree with you that it would be a hell of a lot better than fascist Bush/Obama.

Your right and we may get another tax cheat, Al Franken in office. What a joke our political system has become.
We need term limits NOW.

Oh I didn't say our system was great...But in England, if you have cancer, they decide what you can and can't take even though the drug they might turn down for you, might prolong your life.
Our system's failure is our doctors have to pay a literal fortune for malpractice insurance. Lawyers can sue for any and everything. All they have to do is make it where the person who is suing, if he lost his lawyer had to pay what they were suing for. That would stop all the bad lawsuits.

Yeah, the NHS still needs reform, but in general, it doesn't suck, and I'd say it's better than the US's, based on my experience in both countries.

Yea, like I said, take out all of the free care that illegals and others get that just stay on welfare and straighten out our fake lawsuits and our cost and quality of care would go up. But our doctors do stupid things. Like if you just need a refill, "Oh you need to come in and see the doctor before they'll fill that." So you have to file on insurance about 100 bucks just to get a refill.

You might try to counter by referring to long wait times for healthcare in England. In that case, I would like to refer you to a recent experience I had with my GP, when I arrived twenty minutes early, was immediately inducted into his office, received a prescription, and was back home before my appointment was even due to take place. The NHS is actually quite decent. And if you still don't want to wait, then there's always BUPA, if you can afford it ^_^

Continue from above...
If our crooked trial lawyers were stopped our health care costs would fly down. Also, we treat 15 million illegals for free every year. They come here and take advantage of everything and we the tax payer get screwed.
