@kdavidmcd Look at the wild west. If everyone is armed vigilante justice will occur. While the reasoning may be justified, vigilante justice caused more pain than good. Countries such as Costa Rica, which doesn't even have a military, have lower crime rates than countries that allow guns, such as the USA. I still support the second amendment despite the problems it causes.
