Sorry I wasn't very clear with my wording or meaning! Let me rephrase: the fact that a baby was made is miraculous, and that that can't be an accident. I was speaking of the baby being there, not that the baby grabbing the finger, was miraculous. I'm glad we both agree that the baby was no accident on God's part! I thought you were equating intelligent design with the parents' private decisions. (intelligent design= birth control), when I took intelligent design as God's hand in creating a baby.

First of all, the hand didn't just "come into existence". What is your logic behind it can't be an accident. It's a babies natural instincts to close their hand when it's touched. I agree with you that it wasn't an accident on god's part though.

RANJO517 is talking about the value of human life. For such a thing as a hand to come into existence and to grab hold of a finger can't be an accident. Human life is sacred and whether it was an accident by the parents or not it certainly wasn't an accident on God's part.
