  • I just got a 5.25. Shot it in my first IDPA match yesterday and liked the results. I had been shooting a Glock 19. Are your trigger kits easy to install?

  • @Castleknight It is a very simple process and we have videos in the video section of our website. Thanks

  • @Furadi Please tell me ONE THING that is DOA about a GLOCK or M&P. You can only fire those pistols ONE way and once per cocking of the striker, just like the XD/XDM. There is nothing double action about a pistol that can only be fired one way. You don't need to believe a manufacturer's label when you can easily test it yourself.

  • @SpringerPrecision What?? Striker Fired can be DAO or SAO. XD(m)s are SAO, Glocks are DAO.

The M&P is listed as DAO, But I would say it's SAO since it uses a pivoting sear.

  • @intercooler2 It isn't as bad as that, but we can make it much better :)

  • @SpringerPrecision We looked at one today. My Fiance is thinking about getting out of her Bersa DA/SA if the pull on this isn't too bad.

  • @intercooler2 Because a lot of people don't know what striker fired is would be my guess. Safe action is another market term for striker fired also.

  • @SpringerPrecision Why do they list it as double action on their site?

  • @intercooler2 Striker fired is neither single action or double action. The stock trigger pull is longer and stiffer than I prefer, so we make them much shorter and lighter.

  • Is this the new Competition XDm 5.25"? I have never owned a striker fired so is it single, double, single/double? What's the pull like on them?
