  • the cayman s is the best car porsche has ever produced.

If you put identical engines, in terms of performance, in a carrera and a cayman, the cayman would come out the clear winner.

  • The other thing nice about the Porsche flat six is it's very low center of gravity. I drove an 09 recently and pushed it to the edge; it held the corners like a slot car, even on some negative cambered corners. I realize it's a lot more cash, but the 370Z can't hang with this thing on the corners. This is not to mention the comfort and luxury that comes with it. I guess you get what you pay for.

  • @RomaniaTricolor The 2012 Cayman R looks even better.

  • @amer1cancer2753

its not that people cannot aford 911 - porsche cannot aford to biuld proper sport car (supercar) that whould be midengined becouse porsche brand is based on 911 marketing and history... I just wish porsche whould move forward

  • Smooth lap... looked very fast.

  • My friend own this one. :(

  • flat6 sounds so seducting

  • Get that PDK shit out of here and give me a third pedal.

  • @brocky Yes I agree, I love six cylinders, mainly v6 and flat 6 configurations.. for me a Porsche isn't a Porsche unless it has a flat 6.. the weight is down low, just where it should be.

  • @Porschemovies I'm glad to seeing you agreeing with me but the Cayman is basically a 911 with the engine in the middle, so the 911 should be ditched to save money.

  • @unknownunknowns I own a cayman S and when porsche offers a 380bhp Cayman I will upgrade my current one.

Instead of the Cayman replacing the 911 I rather see the 911 redesigned as a mid engine. I like the fact you can get such a great little car with out spending 911 Money.
