I've had a few requests to break down the harmonies to Ask Me Why. This is a great Beatles tune with some nice vocals. As you might expect, my voice ain't all that hot, but I think you can get an idea of what it should sound like! Give this very underrated song a try and let me hear it.

  • u r awesome!!!!!do u play drums

  • @911abbeyroad Nope! I'm a terrible drummer.LOL. I did play drums back in school, but I never really kept at it....Thanks for stopping by.....Rick

  • hey rick can you tell me you know the intro chord are , everywhere it says E , F#m ,G#m but i think E ,A ,B .. do it , im not sure wich is better?

  • @legolas35653 Thanks for watching! I tried that E,A,B and I don't think that's it. Doesn't have the same feel. The Beatles had a formula at this point, with this song and Do You Want To Know A Secret, Word without Love, Your Gonna Lose that Girl ,and so on. I just play what I think I hear, I might be wrong Though. Thanks again.

  • THANKS SOOO MUCH RICKKK I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

  • @legolas35653 Thank You.

  • Thanks very much for all of your videos.

I wish that I could 'hear' harmonies naturally, rather than having to work at them.

  • awesome

  • @legolas35653 When John plays the guitar chord E, Paul sings a 7major (D#). John sings (G#) and George sings (B).

If you listen to the stereo and remastered version of this song, you'll see that the left channel, the lead guitar of george is playing G#m, A and B (but only on the D G and B strings). Try to listen there and tell us what you think, I have helped. I'm Brazilian, my English sucks.

  • @legolas35653 Hey dude the real correct chords are E, F#m and G#m.

What is deceiving you and giving you the impression of E, A and B, are the voices.

The harmony of the voices make up the chords G#m, A and B, okay?
