I've been on 12 cruises, 1 Freedom Class, 3 Voyager Class, 4 Vision class, 3 Soverign Class and the Carnival Miracle. So I have been on smaller ships. There really is no such thing as a ship being too big!!  And this is certainly not over rated. The hype soots the ship, its awsome. This ship still has all the things that the smaller ships have and more. There are plenty of spaces throughout the ship that are intimate.
