@ymmijnow if you open up the sample editor you can choose "save backup copy" (or something similar, my logic is in german - unfortunately .:D) under the "audio data"-menu which is at the top left of our sample editor window. that should save your files. another possibility would be to manually create a copy in your finder window. :)

the short clip i have is 92bpm and that's the original bpm. When i go to factory and choose destination say 85bpm i don't hear a difference in the sound clip, it actually doesn't do anything lol

Not sure which version of Logic you're using, but its far easier and quicker to add a bpm counter on the track and time stretching it to the tempo you want.
what song is this? sounds like saosin maybe.. but i dig it, what did u end up doing with it? or was it solely for the tutorial?

@cartolano1 It is Dead Poetic and I made a mashup with it. I've got it on my channel

Okay, so you haven't actually changed the BPM of the audio file, this is misleading. You haven't made the audio any faster or any slower, you've just changed the tempo of Logic to fit the audio.

@joeryanisaocelot that isn't true... the only reason I change the tempo of the project is to find the tempo of the track. After I find out the tempo that is when I change the tempo of the audio file in the sample editor
