Green parachute rocket flare

First attempt for a green rocket flare. Parachute from plastic bag.
BP rocket core burner 30mm inner diameter.
Green is Shimizu brilliant green comp.
Unforunately a windy day so rocket did not go streight.
The system worked fine.

Great to see someone else succeed at parachutes as well! I would strongly recommend using paper parachutes though, as plastic melts and isn't environmental friendly. When choosing your paper and wadding carefully it won't burn.

Thanks dude. I've seen your parachute vid. It was a shell and went much higher.

Mine opened at about 100m.

Next time I'll make a smaller diameter core so rocket thrust lasts longer.

Also paper parachute will be the material choice. Its lighter after all.
