@thrcman Wow, I can't believe I said that. I agree completely with you. However, to avoid any confusion, what I meant was the ARPs tend to produce cooler sound effects then Moogs. One of the big debates of old was Minimoog VS Odyssey, which although are both very classic Synthesizers, I'd say the Odyssey wins my vote. The Minimoog is big, fat, and oomphy, but the Odyssey could do much, much more. That's what I meant by that comment; Moogs are very musical and punchy, but the Oddy has BALLS.

@TheSYNTHOID Every synthesizer sound different. Saying an ARP or EMS would be better than a Moog is like saying Mazda is better than Ford, without further explanation. You can get a lot accomplished with different synths. What sounds good to your ear is up to you. No synth is 'better' than another in terms of sound, it is all what you prefer. What functions they offer can make a synth more advanced than the other, hence is better in terms of being capable of doing more.

Now try playing some leads or basses.... or some music. Don't get me wrong, Moog Synthesizers can make great sound effects, but an ARP or EMS would be better.
