Happened years ago here in Hamilton as well. I was sitting on the floor and after a loud rumble, my parents were like, "What's that?" and I just said, "It's an earthquake". Then they were like noo... haha. Then on the news, yah.. :)

Well it looks like I'm the first comment in a month or so but I was browsing videos and hell, i remember that earthquake, hadn't felt one before either, first thing i did was call my family and shit. I bet Rideau must have been chaos and mayhem. Didn't think about it that way... Anyway, it's always funny to be reminded of it.

Hi! beauty girl! I´m from Chile and I survived an 8.8 earthquake, including some aftershocks above 5.5 by week, therefore I have a lot of experience about this ^_^. Married with me and I will protect you for any earthquake or 2012 calamity (one never know).

That earth quake was really soft. But then again it's like the biggest one in Canada in a while. I don't know why people live in america when you can be some venerable earth quakes. Plus why are u even in ottawa Toronto is a lot better. ^^
