Big Lama Key Fob Cam Test

A short video on a breezy day testing out my new key fob camera attached to my Esky Big Lama. Video a little shaky & helicopter hard to control due to the wind but helicopter vibrations are not too bad.

@elandresito Hi! The camera was mounted in a foam sandwich under the lipo at the centre of gravity. Go to rcuniverse forum and find the "RE: BIG LAMA" thread. I have posted pictures on p72&75 of that thread. A revised version is on p124. The lack of vibs is down to a carefully balanced set up ie pristine gears, straight shafts, straight blade grips, balanced blades & flybar, blade tracking. @thenewbrunminator Many thanks! The key points to a good onboard video are: Wrap the cam in some foam and mount it as close as you can the the COG (eg under battery). Balance your blades and flybar. Track your blades. Make sure your shafts are not bent and your gears not damaged. Gentle movements - fast flight generates vibrations. Xtreme blades work well for vids but I don't like them for sport flying. HTH. Simon

I bought a Key Fob camera on ebay. The battery only lasts for 12 minutes after a 3 hour charge. My advice is put your money towards a decent camera like a JVC Picsio.
