9/22/2011 Dr. Dahlia Wasfi lectures on counterinsurgency at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study during a day-long symposium on the past, present, and future of the doctrine that has officially guided the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2007. The symposium paid special attention to the role of anthropologists in counterinsurgency operations.
