girlfriend did this to herself on a single six, i felt so bad for not thinking to remind her to keep her finger down. it was her first time shooting so it was never her fault, poor instruction on my part, and i ended picking little bits of metal/ gunpowder out of her finger for a few days =/

you forgot the magnums and the extra long variations

@BondoFox The round is called 22lr. There is Short, Long, Long Rifle. Three different variations. Only thing different is case length and bullet weight. Your revolver is chambered in ".22 Long Rifle" as it was designed for...a rifle...
-
So why is a .22 revolver referred to as a "long rifle", anyway? My little H&B is and I never understood why.

note to self ...dont holster 22. pistol in pants

But that's how millerchairforce said to hold it! Miller has experience... checking ID's at the gate.. and um.... writing speeding tickets.

Well, I just did the 22 one to show that even such a small caliber can bite/hurt you if not careful. No, you won't lose a finger to the 22 but if the habit carries over to another bigger caliber, it has the potential for great personal harm. If you haven't seen them , look at the 2 tests I did with the 44 mag.
