I think it's hilarious when guys get so hateful when they find out women are lesbians; it is such a huge dent to their egos! Even if Amber wasn't a lesbian she still wouldn't look twice at you losers! She being a lesbian is certainly not a waste for lesbians and bisexuals. Guys, get over yourselves! The world doesn't owe you anything and you don't own women!

I totally agree with the fact that lesbians don't really have any role models. I mean sure there are famous women who have come out such as Ellen Degeneres, Jane Lynch and Rosie O'Donnell, but they are the classic stereotype which some lesbians don't want to be viewed as. I think it's great that Amber has come out as it shows that not all lesbians fit in to that certain stereotype and maybe more women will come out without the fear of being branded as the typical, (sorry) manly butch lesbian.

To compare an A-List actor like Tom Cruise to a B-lister at best like Amber is kind of not worth even responding to but come on, really? You really think this bird is in the same league as a Meryl Streep? Negative. GD these MTV kids are getting stupider by the day. Too many distractions. The main stream says we like 2 girls kissing /having sex. We think it's hot. It's the in thing if you watch MTV & all the other bullshit they cram down our throats. Lesbians appeal to the monkeys. Everyone knows that. I don't personally care at all. It just seemed contrived, but to say things like she is a role model is just silly. In fact I hope more people come out gay & lesbian. It's a great form of birth control. They weed themselves out of the gene pool anyway.

So I wonder why the likes of Tom Cruise wouldn't come out of the closet then because he would be an even bigger celeb in that case!! Come on!! She has been going out with her gf for several years; several years before she came out! I suppose she kept that unknown for so long as part of her cunning plan! If anything, 'coming out' as a celebrity is DETRIMENTAL not adventageous.
