Part I features Deeva, who passed away on August 31, 2009, the day before her 16th birthday:
In this video, Elliott's hair has grown back, and Divina is as curious as ever...
Yes, these 2 kitties are the same age... and are both rescued from the street. In his last appearance, Elliott was almost completely shaved because he had just moved in, and had been to the vet for his shots, operation and everything else before he could join the girls. Now, he's absolutely magnificent in every way... a gentle, playful giant. Divina hasn't changed much... she's still tiny, cuddly and frisky. Together, they provide entertainment 24/7.
More than a year later, the kitties continue to safely enjoy life indoors and out with good food, fresh water, lots of treats, and occasionally, their favorite: catnip!

In another lifetime,
yet not so long ago...
I roamed the savage streets
seeking mercy for my soul.
Sneaking into any hole,
just to survive...
on scraps that others left behind.

Never safe or satiated.
Living under a cruel sky,
But harsher still,
and less worth living,
is a loveless life.

Brutal scorn and sweet compassion -
I have felt and I have known.
Though I now seem apathetic,
perched upon my golden throne.

I alone know my own truth...

@somemothr Elliott is a big boy. He eats high quality dry food, drinks lots of water, and plays with Divina all day... He weighs about 20 pounds and Divina weighs about 6. They're the same age and eat the same thing... go figure...
